Foreign nationals need a valid Indian visa. For Gurez Valley (near the Line of Control), a Protected Area Permit (PAP) is required — we arrange this for you as part of the trip planning. No special permits are needed for Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam, Yusmarg, Doodhpathri, or Aharbal.

A 25% deposit secures your dates and starts the permit process (if needed). The balance is due 7 days before arrival. We accept bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/UPI) and international wire. Optional add-ons (Gondola, ponies, jeeps, guide, monument fees) are paid directly to the provider on the spot in cash or UPI — no markup from us.

Yes. The main tourist circuit (Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam) hosts thousands of domestic and international visitors annually with no incidents. Our team lives in Srinagar, monitors the situation daily, and adjusts routes if needed. We do not operate in restricted border areas without proper permits and escort.

Layers are key. Spring/autumn: light jacket, fleece, comfortable walking shoes. Summer: light cotton, sun hat, sunscreen, light jacket for evenings. Winter: thermals, insulated jacket, waterproof boots, gloves, beanie. Always carry: personal medication, power bank, ID/passport copy, and a small daypack. We provide a detailed packing list after booking.

Any size — solo travellers, couples, families, friend groups up to 12+ (multiple SUVs). For larger groups we arrange a Tempo Traveller or mini-bus. Houseboat stays are typically 1–2 guests per room; hotels range from double to family suites. We tailor vehicle and accommodation to your exact headcount.

Cancel 30+ days before arrival: full refund minus 5% transaction fee. 15–29 days: 50% refund. 7–14 days: 25% refund. Under 7 days: no refund (permits and vendor commitments are non-recoverable). We recommend travel insurance. Date changes (subject to availability) are free up to 15 days before arrival.
